November Presidency Message

Most of us just enjoyed a bountiful Thanksgiving feast, and we numbered the many blessings that we have received from a loving Heavenly Father! This month, as we celebrate the birth of the Savior, we have the opportunity to partake of a SPIRITUAL FEAST, by increasing our effort to draw nearer to Him. As we contemplate His miraculous birth, His perfect life, and the reality of His atoning sacrifice and glorious resurrection, let us strive to center our lives in Him - through fasting and prayer, studying and pondering

His teachings, and through following His supreme example of unselfish service. It is our hope that amid the hustle and bustle of the season, that each of you will find a quiet moment to feel His love for you, and

to express your love to Him. May our hearts be filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrate His life this Christmas season! “O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!”

Merry Christmas!

New RS Presidency

We have a new Relief Society Presidency! We are excited to welcome Laurie Turner as our new president, Sandy Jones as the first counselor, and Carmella Yates as second counselor. These are wonderful sisters who will bring so much talent and love to the 8th ward Relief Society.

Sisters Pat Melessa, Jodi Turner, and Jessica Jewkes, you will be greatly missed. Thank you for your service and the wonderful spirit you brought to our ward. It is sad to see you go, but we know the time has come to say goodbye and welcome in a new presidency who we will love and sustain. You served well and we love you.
