November Presidency Message

Most of us just enjoyed a bountiful Thanksgiving feast, and we numbered the many blessings that we have received from a loving Heavenly Father! This month, as we celebrate the birth of the Savior, we have the opportunity to partake of a SPIRITUAL FEAST, by increasing our effort to draw nearer to Him. As we contemplate His miraculous birth, His perfect life, and the reality of His atoning sacrifice and glorious resurrection, let us strive to center our lives in Him - through fasting and prayer, studying and pondering

His teachings, and through following His supreme example of unselfish service. It is our hope that amid the hustle and bustle of the season, that each of you will find a quiet moment to feel His love for you, and

to express your love to Him. May our hearts be filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrate His life this Christmas season! “O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!”

Merry Christmas!

Under The Umbrella of Self Reliance- January

Emergency preparedness : CAR KITS---

If you are planning on traveling this winter it is recommended you have an emergency car kit in your trunk. Suggested items are: flashlight, flares or reflected triangle, distress sign, telephone change, first aid supplies, basic tools, a fully charged cell phone. Other optional items could be: boots, hats, coat, gloves, jumper cables, kitty liter (for traction), ice scraper, blanket, water and some food. You can pack these any just about anything, a good bet is to buy a pre-assemble kit I believe Wal-Mart has one for under $25.00. Plan ahead, watch the weather, and be safe.
